The Ma & Pa (Maryland And Pennsylvania) was built and operated by the late William "Bill" McMillan MMR (Master Model Railroader) of Richmond, Virginia. Located in an attic room with approximate dimensions of 10 x 30 feet it was a "U" shaped point to point between two staging yards. The layout was fully sceniced and provided plenty of operating action. It represented the Ma & Pa in the late 30's to early 40's. Bill held frequent TT/TO operating sessions using a fast clock. The sessions usually ended with lunch which gave you time to socialize and talk about the session and various other topics. Everyone always seemed to have a good time. Unfortunately with the passing of Bill on July 24, 2012 this layout has joined the ranks of fallen flags.
